Seven hours of skill development and training over two days!
This online 7-hour training over two days is targeted to help library leaders who are responsible for publicly communicating on behalf of their libraries. Whether delivering good news about a grant or responding to an issue your library is facing in the community, informing and educating the public requires library leaders to communicate purposefully, clearly and concisely. Effective communication requires training and practice, particularly for participation in news media interviews or when a microphone is in front of you! Our skilled and knowledgeable trainers will teach you how to develop key bullet points, how to respond to questions from the media, and how news outlets operate, and will provide hands-on opportunities for participants to practice speaking effectively and impactfully.
